Joe Leech is the founder and owner of The Mortgage Eraser which is a registered "DBA" name with the state of Fla and the Melbourne Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. The Mortgage Eraser is associated with United First Financial which is the provider of the proprietary Money Merge Account software, and Joe and the Mortgage Eraser firm conduct business under the strict codes and guidelines of  United First Financial. Our firm is not an employee or directly contacted with UFF but operates under a contract as an Independent Agent.

The firm is allowed only to represent themselves as a Indpendent Software Agent and is probhibited by contract with UFF as well as various laws of the State of Fla from representing that they are representatives of any type of the mortgage industry, and operate under prohibitions of offering any specific financial advice, or requesting or obtaining proprietary individual personal credit or financial information such as account numbers, etc.

Joe has had two prior careers and professional involvments, one of which has well prepared him for working in this area. The first is that he is a retired USAF Officer/Pilot and has held management positions within the USAF. His USAF career spans 37 years which is a combination of active duty and reserve duty. As a civilian, he has been associated with a division of Travelers and has been licensed in both life insurance and investments (Series 6 and 63 licenses).  In addition he has operated his own manufactuers' rep business, and has owned a number of homes including residential investment property where he has had to learn the "ins and outs" of mortgage financing.

Joe moved to Melbourne, Fl in Jan 2007 after residing in Pittsburgh, Pa for close to 30 years. He is accompanied in his move to Fla by his wife, Ruth Ann, who operates a successful travel firm involved in offering full service discount and travel accomodations to all interested travelers. This company also works within the arena of business to business services providing incentive travel, and also works with non profits to fund raise.
